Let’s take another walk through the Fremont Street Experience and the Fremont East District in downtown Las Vegas, Nevada.
Tonight, we begin near the Plaza casino and immediately see someone being detained by police/security then a Superman-style zipliner doesn’t quite get to the end on the SlotZilla zip line. Instead, he comes to a rest quite a ways out then starts rolling backwards toward the beginning. He actually goes quite a ways back — farther than I’ve ever seen someone go. An employee at the destination station straps into a harness of his own then connects to the line to retrieve the customer and pull him in. All that happens within the first 3 minutes of the video!
From buskers wearing giant gorilla costumes to others wearing relatively little at all, the sights on Fremont Street are always different and interesting. See the guy who bends in ways that shouldn’t be possible and learn to avoid shows where groups berate the audience for donations — I’ll save you the time by showing how it works here!
On the far end of the Fremont Street Experience, we head to the Fremont East District, too, and venture into the container park. It’s late, so it’s only open to those 21 and over and only the bars are open, but sneak a peek at the shops in shipping containers.
All in all, it’s a nice leisurely stroll with some very interesting visuals. If you want to know what Fremont Street offers in 2025, check it out!
