Today we’re walking through the Wynn and Encore casinos in Las Vegas. Together, they create what I think is the most luxurious resort on the Strip.
We begin at the Encore parking garage entrance, coming inside through a revolving door, and soon make our way to the hotel lobby, where fresh floral arrangements complement the elegant atmosphere. We next pass by the Lobby Bar and take note of the tree sculptures inside, but interestingly, we’re told that filming of the bar is not allowed. It seems a peculiarly specific rule, but I move along and head toward the Tower Suites lobby and the Sinatra restaurant nearby.
Not far from there, a pair of white peacocks flank the entrance to the Encore’s high limit area, and we pass the Encore Day Club VIP entrance before continuing toward Casa Playa Coastal Mexican restaurant with its ornate flower filled entryway.
After that, we stroll along the Encore casino floor, pass the Encore swimming pool area, and make our way down the elegant hallway that connects Encore to Wynn. Along the way, we pass XS Nightclub and the Encore shops before arriving at the Wynn Theater, which is currently home to a show called Awakening.
Inside the Wynn, we walk beneath elaborate ceiling decor and take in more of the upscale details of the resort. We’re soon at the Wynn Plaza shops and pass spots like Urth Cafe with its fancy orchid-topped desserts and high end designer stores like Hermes and Cartier. We continue through the plaza, eventually arriving at a guarded metallic balloon tulip sculpture before heading back into the Wynn casino itself.
We briefly pass Allegro Italian restaurant and the massive sports book area before walking around the main Wynn casino floor. Walking through the Wynn hotel lobby, we head outside to overlook the waterfall and lake that make up the Lake of Dreams.
Back inside, we ride down spiral escalators near moving parasols and walk past Aft Bar which provides an ideal spot for a drink when watching a Lake of Dreams show later in the evening. A flower-covered carousel complements the Wynn vibe, and we soon head into the Wynn Esplanade shops where designer stores like Tiffany, Prada, and Gucci line the path.
Outside near Las Vegas Boulevard, we check out a series of waterfalls and remark about the area where water jets previously put on a “mini Bellagio fountain” type show.
The walkthrough heads back inside and continues past the newly opened B Bar, the Wynn Buffet, and restaurants like La Cave and Terrace Point Cafe before finishing back near the Allegro Italian restaurant.
