Las Vegas Strip Walk — Strat To World’s Largest Gift Shop

The Las Vegas Strip doesn’t have a legal definition, but no matter who you ask, the north end doesn’t go beyond the Strat casino.

The answer to “What part of the Strip is the sketchiest?” would also likely have a common response: “the area near the Stratosphere.”

So, I figured I’d walk Las Vegas Boulevard between the Stratosphere and Sahara Avenue in the early evening to see what it’s like.

Sketchy characters, the smell of trash, and the tattered remains of an IHOP are all encountered in this walk of only about 1,000 feet. We also see a police cruiser driving through a parking lot, people running across multiple lanes of traffic when a crosswalk is just a few feet away, and a few more interesting sights.

If you’re curious what this section of the Las Vegas strip looks like in 2025, this video gives you a full real-time look from the safety of your own home.

Thanks for watching. I appreciate you being here!
