Las Vegas WalkThru — Treasure Island

Today we’re walking through the Treasure Island casino on the Las Vegas Strip, starting outside by the pirate ships then heading through the interior of the property.

After taking a look at the boats where pirate shows once happened nightly, we take note that Gilley’s restaurant, at least partially, sits over water for some unknown reason.

Walking around the backside of the restaurant, we then pass the passenger drop off area with its pirate themed decor and note the free valet parking.

Inside, the hotel lobby sits in front of the pool area, and we take a quick look at the busy coffee shop. Near the Gilley’s interior entrance, we see signage for a “World Famous Bikini Bull Riding” contest that happens weekly.

Continuing the walkthrough, we point out some pirate themed architectural details, then we pass a Popeyes Chicken, Krispy Kreme, and CVS, all within the hotel. We also walk by a new restaurant called Ace Dragon Wok, the sports book and bar, and the entrance to Cirque du Soleil’s Mystere. Nearby, a long escalator leads toward the self park garage.

Heading inside The Cove arcade for a bit, we see various electronic games and duckpin bowling, then we return to the casino floor. Along the way, we pass a big wheel style slot machine and a carved woolly mammoth tusk on display.

If you’re curious what Treasure Island looks like in 2025, or just want a relaxed, first person walkthrough of this pirate themed Strip resort and its casino, this video gives you a full real time look.
