Today we’re taking a walk through the Horseshoe casino in Las Vegas. It’s the same casino that was most recently known as Bally’s, but it’s now got some new restaurants, construction of yet more restaurants out near Las Vegas Blvd, and a bit of a refresh inside while still maintaining a classic casino vibe.
We start by entering from the parking structure, which is shared with the Paris casino. Right away, we pass a cake vending machine, a few shops selling tech gadgets and high end items, and then we stroll past Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Sports Kitchen. Inside the main casino area, we make our way toward Jack Binion’s Steakhouse and notice that the crowd going in and out skews a bit older.
Back on the casino floor, we pass various slot machines and soon arrive at the hotel lobby. The Horseshoe casino is on the smaller side and one of the more generic ones on the Las Vegas Strip. Before long, we’ve made our way through it and head up an escalator toward the Grand Bazaar Shops, which are out front near the Strip.
At the top of the escalator, the moving walkways of yesteryear are now gone, and quite a few of the storefronts in the Grand Bazaar Shops area are vacant. We do spot places that are open like Dirt Dog, Subway (with an $18.99 footlong sandwich), and Fuel Bar, where we see a bartender pour a shot straight into a customer’s mouth.
Nearer the Strip, too, we pass It’Sugar and see that Blake Shelton’s Ole Red restaurant has live country music singers. We swing past food spots like a good-smelling Mediterranean restaurant, the shuttered Bourbon Parade restaurant that had live jazz before it closed, and Duck Donuts.
If you’re wondering what Horseshoe Las Vegas looks like these days or you’re just curious about the current state of the Grand Bazaar Shops, this walkthrough gives you a solid feel for how things look in 2025.
Thanks for watching. I appreciate you being here!
