Today we’re walking through the Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas, starting from the parking garage near Neonopolis and heading out onto the street just after midnight.
We begin right next to White Castle and step into the crowds of Fremont Street. Even at this late hour, the energy is high with people taking photos with buskers, watching street performances, and enjoying the neon glow under the LED canopy.
Along the way, we see a mix of characters, from the shirtless cowboy buskers to the whip and whistle ladies trying to entice tourists to take a photo. A balancing acrobat has his table set up near the west end of Fremont Street, and multiple tourists are seen posing for pictures with costumed characters.
As we continue our walk along the Fremont Street Experience for a second round, we take note of the Slotzilla zipline launch tower, a spray paint art booth, newlyweds making their way down the street, and a wheelchair user oddly parked in the middle of the walkway. It’s a typical late night in downtown Las Vegas. “Typical” in that it’s mix of both the expected and the unusual.
We make our way all the way down to the Plaza hotel again at the western end of the Fremont Street Experience, then we slowly walk back under the LED canopy, capturing more of the lively late night crowd before wrapping up near Fourth Street.
