Las Vegas WalkThru — Excalibur Casino (#2)

Today we’re walking through the Excalibur casino in Las Vegas, starting from inside the parking garage and working our way through the entire property.

Coming out of the parking garage, we begin with a quick look over the fence at the Excalibur swimming pool, then we take in the castle-style exterior of the hotel towers and turrets. As we enter inside, we see the whimsical, medieval architecture and pass through various areas of the casino starting with the sports book and the TAP Sports Bar.

Walking through the casino floor and slot machines, we take another peek at the Sprinkles cupcake vending machine, and we venture inside Johnny Rockets restaurant where a burger and fries now costs $22.95, a $1 increase from when we last walked through Excalibur. We pass the hotel lobby and the entrance from the Strip (with a moving sidewalk) before heading downstairs to the arcade area, where Dairy Queen and carnival games typically draw a younger crowd.

After a loop through the lower level, we take the escalator back up to the casino and continue our walkthrough. We pass Dick’s Last Resort, where restaurant patrons are playfully insulted, and we stroll past rows of slot machines, decorative knight armor, and a mostly unused lounge that’s open only 16 hours per week. Taking an escalator up a floor, we check out Buca di Beppo and the Excalibur buffet, which is open as it’s during brunch hours.

Finally, we follow the indoor walkway toward the Luxor, where the moving walkways have been removed but the stained middle carpet remains, and we end with a look at the food court.

If you’re curious what the Excalibur casino looks like in 2025 or just want a relaxed, first person walkthrough of one of the more playful themed resorts on the Strip, this video gives you a complete look.
