Las Vegas Strip Walk — Fontainebleau to Stratosphere

Today we’re taking a walk on the northern stretch of the Las Vegas Strip, starting outside the newly opened Fontainebleau casino and making our way all the way to the Stratosphere.

We begin near palm trees wrapped in LED lights in front of the Fontainebleau and make our way north on Las Vegas Boulevard, where we pass spots like the Las Vegas Experience construction site, the Sahara casino, and a couple of older wedding chapels, including one with Elvis ceremonies advertised on the marquee.

Along the way, I share a few tidbits about the Stratosphere (including the ill-thought-out name change) and point out where we officially enter the City of Las Vegas. — I bet you didn’t know most of the area people call the “Strip” is actually not in the city of Las Vegas.

It’s a fairly deserted sidewalk compared to the mass of people crowded on the center Strip, but if you’re curious what this part of Las Vegas Boulevard looks like in 2025, this video will give you a solid view.

Thanks for watching. I appreciate you being here!
