Today we’re checking out Park MGM, one of the newer names on the Las Vegas Strip, though the building itself has been around for decades (it used to be Monte Carlo). It’s also the Strip’s only completely non-smoking casino.
We start our walk just outside the property near Las Vegas Boulevard, then we immediately step inside to explore Eataly, a rather large Italian food hall. Inside Eataly, we see various shops and restaurants with items like gelato and coffee. A cute bar area has faux orange trees in it, and heading upstairs we find premade sandwiches, pastas, and even a fresh fishmonger.
From Eataly, we move on into the main casino area, quickly passing by the entrances to Best Friend, a trendy Korean restaurant, and Mama Rabbit, where bottles of alcohol are stored on a wall about 20 feet high.
Walking through the casino, we pass a small restaurant called Side Betty Grill, just off the sportsbook, and Juniper Cocktail Lounge, which provides a darker, more intimate space for a cocktail.
As we continue exploring, we come across a cool optical illusion at The Chef Truck, a real truck serving food from within the casino. The illusion is that that tiny food trucks appear to have larger than possible, three-dimensional interiors.
We next check out the conference center for a quick break from the hustle and bustle of the casino, then we head shortly thereafter towards the hotel lobby to see the Primrose restaurant and lobby bar. It’s got a “sitting room” / library vibe to it that appears quite charming.
Walking through the hotel lobby and past the guest elevators, we continue onto the casino floor again and peek into the NoMad Library area before seeing some actual costumes worn by Lady Gaga — she performs regularly at Park MGM’s theater. We also take a walk through the Lady Gaga merchandise shop, which has more costumes on display in addition to Lady Gaga branded things for sale.
Toward the end of our walk, we go past Lala Noodles, then we head back outside to finish up by The Crack Shack, a casual restaurant specializing in chicken.
If you’re curious how Park MGM is looking in 2025, this walkthrough should give you a good feel for what’s what.
